A few pics from Iraq with the 116th CSC
I have many more pictures from my tour in Iraq with the 116th Engineers CSC (Convoy Security Company), but for now this is a good sampling of them. Remember that some of them were taken as I was bouncing down the fine Iraqi roads in a HEMTT wrecker.
Pics from Fort Dix
Here are a couple of pictures I took at Fort Dix when I was there for recovery training. It was an awesome class, and one of the highlights of my time in the guard. Again feel free to use the images posted here as wallpaper for your laptops, computers, netbooks, notebooks, iPhones, iPads, PDA's, iPods, blackberries, androids, or what every electronic device that you can set the wallpaper on.

Come Sail Away
I enjoy going to the Great Salt Lake just west of Salt Lake City Utah and taking pictures. No one day is the same out there, and I always find new things to take pictures of. Here are two pictures that I took at the pier. The first picture is of a sail boat out on lake. The other picture is of sail boats docked at the pier. I hope you enjoy these pictures, and come back soon for more.

Apple iPhone and other web enabled cell phones
I had a friend of try to set a picture from this blog to his Apple iPhone. From the phone he navigated to the site, and was able to set a picture as his background. So if you would like to set one of the posted pictures on your iPhone or other web enabled cell phone as your background I'm sure it will work.

NYC Pics
Prior to being deployed to Iraq I went to Fort Dix, New Jersey for recovery school. On the weekend a few of us went to New York City. Here are a few of the pictures I took while there. These pictures were taken with a Nikon Coolpix L6 point and shoot camera. I think I did pretty good considering I used a point and shoot. As for the camera, well it made it through my tour in Iraq, but broke shortly after I returned home.

Image Size
Just a quick note. All monitors are not created equal. If the picture is not sized properly to your monitor then you might have to resize it. Figure out the size of your monitor, save the picture to your computer, open the picture in a program such as Microsoft Office Picture Manager and resize the picture to your screen size. Save the picture, and then set the saved picture as your background.

Something Old
The first picture is of the Old Miner's Cabin in Ophir. This is one of my favorite pictures, and I have a canvas wrap of it hanging in my house.
The second picture is of the Old Mine Cars that are in Ophir up by an old mine just as you come into town.
The third picture is an truck off the road (SR-36) outside of Stockton. The last time I drove by there the truck was gone. All three of these were taken on the same day as I was driving to Ophir to take pictures.
If you would like to use these pictures as wallpaper simply double click on the image. When it opens up right click on the image and click save as background. As always I retain the copyright to my pictures and they may only be used for personal use.
I hope you enjoy them and please come back often to see what new pictures I have posted.

We Can Handle It (Union Pacific)
Here are a couple of train pictures for all you train lovers out there. I took these pictures a couple of summers ago as these two trains were passing through. I live a stones throw away from the Union Pacific tracks, and there is always freight trains going through to and from Salt Lake City. I enjoy watching the train pass through, and seeing all the different types of freight being hauled. I hope you enjoy the pictures along with the others that I have posted. Feel free to use them as screen savers, and backgrounds. Hope to see you back soon.
